Dustin Mayer is proposing the construction of a new 2,730 square foot home in the 4100 block of West Pine. The 3-story brick home will be a welcomed addition to this historic block. The historic replica townhouse was designed by Jeff Day and Associates architect. The home will feature 10 foot ceilings on the first two floors and 9 foot ceiling on the third floor. The new home will be clad in brick on all four sides and feature a third floor terrace on the rear of the property. The house will be located on a 60 foot by 210 foot vacant lot located on the south side of the block. On Thursday, January 6, 2011, Park Central’s development committee for the CWE-Midtown area met with the developer to review the project. The staff recommended and the committee endorsed the developer’s request for 5 years of tax abatement. Dustin anticipates that construction will begin on the house in late February or early March with completion scheduled for September 2011. The estimated total development cost is $500,000.
